Providing hope and healing for children and families struggling with life's challenges

For the children and families who come to Holston Home for help, life can sometimes seem hopeless. They are looking for vision, longing to find their way to new lives and new hope.

The ministry of Holston Home began in 1895 when a single woman took a step of faith and founded an orphanage in Northeast Tennessee. From those early beginnings, the "Home" has grown to serve more than 400 children and their families on any given day with family service centers located throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

We believe children grow up best in healthy families. Our professional, caring services are focused on keeping families together. When it is necessary for a child to live apart from his or her family, we provide quality, compassionate care and remain focused on getting the child and family reunited.
