With over one hundred and twenty years of experience, Holston Home for Children is uniquely positioned as one of the most resourced and equipped faith-based agencies that can truly make a difference in the lives of children and families.

God said, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after the orphans and the widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” –James 1:27 (NIV)

Our foster parents come in a variety of seasons of life: single parents, parents who work part-time and full-time, parents with and without biological children and empty nesters. All of our foster parents have one thing in common: they love our children. Everyone is valuable and has something to offer our children.

On any given day in Tennessee, over six-thousand children are in foster care with more than three-hundred children available for adoption. In Virginia, over five-thousand children are in foster care with more than seven-hundred available for adoption. Would you use your time, gifts and talents to serve these children?

If you are a Tennessee resident, please send us an email and call 423-787-8760 and ask to speak with one of our recruiter/trainers. If you are a Virginia resident, please send us an email and contact Dianna Wilson at 276-591-5301. We have recruiter/trainers available in Greeneville, Tri-Cities, Knoxville and SW Virginia who are ready to serve you and answer any questions you have. Discover your “YES” today and join our family.
